Import stuck in a loop

  So, im trying to import content from a (self hosted) wordpress site to a new wordperss.com one. But when we are importing our posts the importer seems to be stuck in some never ending loop. Its been like that for 24 hours now.

  How can i abort the import so i can try it again?
  Any ideas on what the problem can be?
