Jetpack plugin stopped and wont reinstall

    A few weeks ago the stats of jetpack stopped recording hits (May 20:th). At the same time my old and VERY long password stopped working for the wordpress account of the blog https://drc.one

    I have NOT revealed the password to anyone and have a strong AV and firewall (Webroot and HW-firewall + Win10-firewall) as well as Heimdal Pro antimalware and fully patched Win10.

    The blog continued to be accessible and working fine, but the account could not be logged into with existing password. Today I requested a reset of the password – having time finally to look into what had passed.

    I find that the plugin page of WP says ”Jetpack deactivated”?. So I deinstalled it. Then tries to reinstall it from ”https://www.drc.one/wp-admin/plugin-install.php” with the result: ”Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.”

    How to get around this and renew the jetpack functionality? If possible without deleting the stats of now 14 months of hits from all over the world?

    A person was giving me tips on CEO for the blog, we did not have the same view on how to continue the coopreation, so I just paid him and said I did not need his services further, the person got quite pissed. Could he have been sabotaging it? (he was NOT given any login ids nor passwords), or is it just a mishap?
