Upgrade downgrade problem

    Hi! I upgraded my wp.com account from free to personal, but realized it didn’t cover what I needed, so I downgraded again and got a refund. So far so good, but what also happened was that the domain that I’ve paid for and used previously stopped working, with no other viable option than paying for the domain again. (And no I didn’t get a refund for the previous separate payment for the domain). Any help or guide forward is very appreciated.
