How do I point my domain name to other host when I have deleted the DNS record

  I have already deleted the DNS record from my domain page and unsubscribed wordpress.com, but I want to edit the DNS that is already pointed to wordpress.com. to other host website.
  Do I need to subscribe again to get the DNS record back to my domain page and edit the CNAME and ARECORD?
