AI search engines — Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity — decide which brands to cite using entity signals. AI Schema Gen builds those signals automatically: entity-aware JSON-LD, sameAs links, @graph output with @id cross-references, and a Knowledge Graph Entity Score that tracks your progress.

Click Generate — the AI reads your content and creates accurate, entity-aware schema markup in seconds. No manual JSON-LD writing. No schema expertise required. Connects to the AI Schema Gen API using your free API key and handles everything automatically.

Built for AI Search (GEO)

AI search doesn’t rank pages the way traditional search does — it decides which brands and sources to cite by reading entity signals: who you are, what you’re known for, and how your identity connects across the web. Schema markup used to be about snippets. Now it’s also about earning a citation in Google AI Mode, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.

AI Schema Gen is built for this shift:

  • Entity-Aware JSON-LD — every schema block describes your business, author, or content as a connected entity, not an isolated snippet
  • sameAs Links — connect your site to authoritative profiles (Wikipedia, Wikidata, LinkedIn, Crunchbase, social profiles) that AI models use to verify who you are
  • Entity @graph Output — every entity on the page linked by canonical @id references, the exact structure Google and AI crawlers use to resolve identity
  • Knowledge Graph Entity Score — a 0–100 score tracking how completely your site’s core entity (Organization or LocalBusiness) is defined, so you can see — and close — your entity gaps

Rich Results Too

Schema markup (structured data) also helps traditional search engines understand your content. When implemented correctly, it enables rich results in Google such as:

  • Star ratings and review snippets
  • Product prices and availability
  • FAQ accordions directly in search results
  • Recipe cards with cook time and calories
  • Event dates and locations
  • Breadcrumb navigation trails

AI Schema Gen generates all of these automatically — no JSON-LD knowledge required.

External Services

This plugin communicates with the AI Schema Gen SaaS backend at: https://api.aischemagen.com

No data is transmitted until an API key is entered in the plugin settings.

Schema Generation

What: Post title, content (stripped of HTML), excerpt, post type, categories, tags, headings, and featured image URL. When: When the user clicks “Generate with AI”, saves a post with auto-apply enabled, or runs a bulk generation job. Why: To analyse page content and generate appropriate schema.org structured data markup.

API Key Verification

What: The API key you enter in Settings. When: When you click “Verify Key” in the Settings page. Why: To confirm the key is valid and retrieve your plan information.

Dashboard Sync & Backup

What: Page titles, URLs, post types, the full generated schema markup (JSON-LD) for each page, validation status, your entity/organization settings, and your plugin configuration (site type, business subtype, automation settings). Your API key is never included in this data. When: Automatically after any schema is generated, edited, or deleted; every 6 hours via WordPress cron; or when you click “Sync Now” in Settings. Why: To power your AI Schema Gen dashboard (coverage, validation, and analytics views), and to back up your settings and generated schema so they can be restored automatically if you reconnect an API key on a fresh WordPress install — for example, after uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, which deletes all local plugin data and database tables.
