GranTech Accessibility Audit
·
WCAG 2.2 accessibility scanner and Accessibility Statement generator for Spanish RD 1112/2018 and the European Accessibility Act.
GranTech Accessibility Audit scans your WordPress site for WCAG 2.2 compliance issues and generates the legally required Accessibility Statement in the format mandated by Spanish law (RD 1112/2018) and the European Accessibility Act (EAA, effective June 2025).
Key Features
- WCAG 2.2 scanner — detects errors in images, headings, links, forms, colour contrast, and more.
- Accessibility Statement generator — produces the required declaration in the official MINHAP format (Spain / RD 1112/2018).
- Issue tracker — mark issues as in-progress, fixed, or not applicable, with justification.
- History dashboard — track your accessibility score over time with a visual chart.
- CSV export — export all issues for import into Jira, Trello, or Notion.
- No overlays — unlike UserWay or AccessiBe, this plugin detects real problems instead of hiding them.
Who is this for?
- Spanish public sector — websites and apps required to comply with RD 1112/2018.
- NGOs and associations receiving public funding — also obligated by RD 1112/2018.
- Private companies covered by Ley 11/2023 (Spain’s transposition of the EAA, in force since 28 June 2025): e-commerce, banking, transport, telecoms.
- Companies offering goods/services to the public covered by Real Decreto 193/2023 on basic accessibility conditions and non-discrimination.
- WordPress developers and agencies offering accessibility audit services to clients.
- Any organisation that wants to demonstrate accessibility commitment without cost.
Technical notes
The plugin uses static HTML analysis, which covers approximately 70% of the automated WCAG 2.2 rules. It clearly documents this limitation so you never get a false sense of compliance: automated tools cannot detect every accessibility barrier, and full conformance always requires a manual review by an accessibility expert.
