Wexlab PDF Toolkit Lite for Elementor
Wexlab PDF Toolkit Lite for Elementor is an independent widget set by WP Expert Lab that adds four PDF-related widgets to the Elementor page builder. This plugin is not affiliated with or endorsed by Elementor.
Once activated, the widgets appear in the Elementor editor’s widget panel and can be dragged onto any page like any other Elementor widget. Each widget only needs the URL (or Media Library file) of a PDF to work — no extra setup, API keys, or configuration is required.
The Four Widgets
- PDF Viewer (Lite) — Renders the pages of a PDF directly on the page using the bundled PDF.js library, so visitors can scroll through the document without leaving your site or downloading it.
- PDF Embed (Lite) — Embeds a PDF in an iframe with adjustable width and height, using the browser’s own PDF viewer.
- PDF Download Button (Lite) — Displays a styled button that lets visitors download the PDF file directly.
- PDF Thumbnail (Lite) — Shows a preview image of the PDF’s first page, generated from the bundled PDF.js library, useful as a clickable preview linking to the full document.
How To Use
- Activate the plugin (Elementor must already be installed and active).
- Edit any page with Elementor.
- In the widget panel, search for “PDF” — the four widgets listed above will appear.
- Drag the widget you want onto the page.
- In the widget’s Content tab, either paste the direct URL of a PDF file or choose one from the WordPress Media Library.
- Adjust the available style options (size, colors, etc.) in the widget’s Style tab, then publish the page.

- WordPress 5.8+
- Elementor (free version works) — required, not affiliated with this plugin
- PHP 7.4+

This plugin bundles Mozilla’s PDF.js library (version 3.11.174), licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
