WhatALead Integration for Setlyy
Setlyy Integration connects your WordPress website to Setlyy, your AI-powered WhatsApp sales assistant.
Once connected, the plugin automatically adds a WhatsApp widget to your public pages (just before </body>). The widget lets your visitors start a conversation on WhatsApp with your AI sales assistant, who can:
- Welcome your visitors in real time
- Ask qualifying questions
- Explain your offers clearly
- Collect the right information
- Send highly qualified leads to your team or booking system
The integration is managed directly from the WordPress admin:
- Secure OAuth connection between your site and Setlyy
- Automatic sync of your WhatsApp number and widget texts from Setlyy
- One-click toggle to enable or disable the widget on your site
- Visual preview of what your visitors see on your website and on WhatsApp
🧠 Setlyy is a SaaS product. You need an active account on Setlyy to use this plugin.
How it works (high level)
- You install and activate the plugin on your WordPress site.
- You click on “Connect to Setlyy” inside the plugin settings, and you are redirected to Setlyy to grant access.
- Setlyy returns a secure token and your company ID to WordPress.
- The plugin can then call the Setlyy API to fetch your WhatsApp phone number and texts.
- The plugin injects a JavaScript snippet on the front-end that displays the WhatsApp floating button.

This plugin connects to the external SaaS service Setlyy:

The plugin itself does not store or send any data to third parties other than Setlyy. To use the plugin, you must accept Setlyy’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Data handling and privacy
What data is stored in WordPress?
The plugin stores the following in the WordPress options table (wp_options):
- A secure token returned by Setlyy after OAuth
- Your Setlyy company ID
- A configuration array containing widget settings
What data is sent to Setlyy?
When you click “Refresh data”, the plugin sends: * Your Setlyy token * Your company ID * Your site URL (for identification)
Setlyy uses this data to send back your current configuration for the WhatsApp widget.
