Flumen Analytics for WooCommerce

Flumen Analytics for WooCommerce is a free connector that helps you set up and connect your WooCommerce store to Flumen Data Analytics, a hosted analytics service at flumendataanalytics.com that turns your sales data into dashboards.

This plugin is a connector only. It does not bundle any paid features, and it does not display anything on the public-facing side of your site. Everything it does happens on an admin settings page under the WooCommerce menu.

What it does

• Adds a Flumen Analytics settings page under the WooCommerce menu.
• Runs local, on-page readiness checks and explains, in plain language, what to change and why for anything that needs attention:
  • Permalinks are not set to Plain (the WooCommerce REST API returns 404 under Plain), with a direct link to Settings → Permalinks.
  • Your site is served over HTTPS.
  • WooCommerce is active and its REST API responds.
  • Whether the Cost of Goods Sold feature is enabled (it powers profit-margin reporting), with a link to enable it.
• A Connect button that opens the Flumen sign-up page with your store address filled in for you, plus a separate link for existing clients to log in to their Flumen dashboard.
• Shows your connection status by detecting whether a Flumen WooCommerce REST API key exists on your store.

The plugin never transmits store data itself. Data is only shared with Flumen after you explicitly authorize a read-only WooCommerce REST API key on the Flumen website, through WooCommerce’s own authorization screen.

External services

This plugin helps you connect your store to Flumen Data Analytics (https://flumendataanalytics.com), a hosted analytics service operated by Flumen Data Analytics.

The plugin does not send any data from your server. On its admin settings page it shows links that open flumendataanalytics.com in your browser and include your site’s public home URL as a query parameter, so you do not have to type your store address. No request is made from your server to Flumen by this plugin.

If you choose to connect on the Flumen website, you authorize a read-only WooCommerce REST API key through WooCommerce’s own authorization screen. From that point, Flumen reads your sales data via the WooCommerce REST API under the terms you agree to on the Flumen website.
