This plugin optionally connects to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate AI-powered SEO meta titles and descriptions.
What data is sent: When you click „Generate with AI“ on a post or page, the plugin sends your post title, post content (up to 2000 words), and focus keyword (if provided) to Anthropic’s API servers.
When data is sent: Data is only sent when you explicitly click the „Generate Now with AI“ button in the post editor, or when you enable „Auto-generate on save“ and save a post. No data is sent automatically without user action.

Google Gemini API

Ahrefs Analytics
This plugin optionally loads the Ahrefs Analytics script on your website’s homepage for site verification and analytics purposes.
What data is sent: If you configure an Ahrefs verification key in the plugin settings, the Ahrefs Analytics JavaScript file is loaded on your homepage. Ahrefs may collect visitor data based on their script functionality.
When data is sent: The Ahrefs script loads only on the homepage/front page and only when you have configured an Ahrefs verification key in the Site Connections settings. If no key is configured, no connection to Ahrefs is made.

Privacy Policy
Metapilot Smart SEO respects your privacy:
- The plugin does not collect any personal data from your visitors.
- If you use AI features, your content is sent to your chosen AI provider (Anthropic or Google) for processing. Please review their privacy policies linked in the External Services section above.
- Webmaster verification codes are stored locally in your WordPress database only.
- 404 logs store only URLs and timestamps — no visitor personal information is collected.
