Akantio POS
Akantio POS turns your WooCommerce catalog into a full point-of-sale register — for shops, pop-ups, markets, and counter sales, right alongside the online store you already run.
Ring up sales on a fast, touch-friendly checkout screen and take payment however the customer pays — cash, or card in person via built-in Stripe and Revolut terminal integration, with more payment providers on the way — then hand over a receipt without ever leaving the register. This plugin is the bridge that keeps your WooCommerce store and your POS register looking at the same truth: the same products, the same stock, and — if you choose — the same orders.
Why run WooCommerce as your POS
- One product catalog. Whatever you sell online is exactly what you sell in person — no duplicate product lists to maintain.
- Stock that’s always right. A sale at the register is a sale in WooCommerce. No overselling online because the shelf emptied out.
- Real orders, if you want them. Turn on Order Sync and every POS sale becomes a proper WooCommerce order — same reporting, same order history, same customer records.
- Built for the counter. Akantio POS itself is a fast, offline-capable register app, not a repurposed admin screen — designed for the person ringing up the next customer, not the store owner in the back office.
Two independent sync modes (choose one from Akantio POS itself):
- Order Sync — every completed POS sale is created here as a real WooCommerce order, exactly as rung up, with stock reduced automatically.
- Stock-only Sync — POS sales adjust product stock levels directly, without creating an order in WooCommerce.
Compatible with both High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and legacy post-based order storage.
Get started
- Install this plugin on your WooCommerce store.
- Download and open Akantio POS and follow its «Connect to WooCommerce» flow.
- Pick Order Sync or Stock-only Sync, and start ringing up sales.
How the connection works
Connecting is driven entirely from Akantio POS, not from this site — open Akantio POS and follow its «Connect to WooCommerce» flow, which authenticates using WooCommerce’s own native REST API consumer key/secret system (the same mechanism any other WooCommerce REST API client uses). This plugin does not store, generate, or manage that credential itself.
Third-party service disclosure
This plugin does not make any outbound network requests to Akantio or any other third party. All communication is inbound: your Akantio POS instance calls this site’s REST API (authenticated via WooCommerce’s native REST auth) to push orders or stock updates. The only exception is the «Open POS» link in this plugin’s admin page, which — only when you click it — opens Akantio POS in your browser, the same as clicking any bookmark.
