Conexteo SMS RCS
Conexteo SMS RCS connects your WooCommerce store to your Conexteo account (French SMS/RCS provider) to send:
- Order confirmation — automatic SMS or RCS, triggered on payment or as soon as the order is placed
- Shipping confirmation — configurable trigger status; tracking number and carrier are read automatically from popular shipment tracking plugins
- Abandoned cart reminder — configurable delay in minutes, with a dynamic RCS mode that builds a card or carousel using the real product images from the customer’s cart
- Delayed review request — delay in days, direct link to the native WooCommerce product review form
- Customer anniversary message — sent every year on the anniversary of the first order
- Custom status rules — send an SMS/RCS whenever an order switches to any status (including custom statuses), immediately or after a delay in minutes, hours, days or months, with automatic cancellation if the status changes in the meantime
- Marketing campaigns — manual bulk sending (opt-in segment by default, with GDPR safeguards)
- Contact synchronization to your Conexteo contact lists
RCS lets you send rich messages: cards with an image, description and buttons (link or call), or carousels of 2 to 10 cards, with an automatic SMS fallback when the recipient cannot receive RCS.
The plugin is free: you only pay for your SMS/RCS credits on your Conexteo account, managed on app.conexteo.com.
Data protection: API credentials are stored encrypted, only the minimum data is transmitted (phone number, first name, last name), opt-in checkbox at checkout, access log for bulk customer data reads, automatic purge of old scheduling data.
External services
This plugin is a connector for the Conexteo SMS/RCS sending service and communicates with the API at https://api.conexteo.com, operated by Conexteo (a French company). A Conexteo account is required (app.conexteo.com).
Data sent to the API when sending messages: the recipient’s phone number, first name and last name (for message personalization), the message content and the sender name. No other site or customer data is transmitted. No data is sent until the merchant has connected their Conexteo account and enabled a sending feature.
