Version 8.8 New Features and Fixes – Grok AI Content Source Verification (Beta) – new «Verify sources with live web search» checkbox in the Grok AI tab. When enabled, Grok uses xAI’s live web_search tool to find current sources and includes verifiable URLs in the generated article. Sources section at the bottom of each article shows hostname and full URL for every source cited. – Inline citation numbers in verified articles now match the corresponding entry in the bottom Sources list. Click [5] in the body, scroll down to entry «5.» in the Sources list – same source. – Verify Sources is a transient setting that resets to OFF on every page reload, so it never accidentally fires on the monthly auto-run. – Fixed Include Sources Section setting not being respected by the monthly recurring article cron. – Quota counters reset automatically on the 1st of each calendar month and do not increment on failed generations. – Honest AI content notice added to the Grok tab so site admins understand what LLM-generated content can and cannot reliably produce.

Known Limitations

• WordPress Multisite: Dynamic Post is designed for and tested on standard single-site WordPress installations. It has not been tested on WordPress Multisite (network) installations. While the plugin may function on Multisite, behavior such as API key sharing across subsites, per-subsite tier resolution, and grace-period banner display across subsites has not been verified. If you intend to use this plugin on Multisite, please test thoroughly on a staging environment first and consider reaching out via the support channel.

• Caching plugins: The plugin uses WordPress transients for API response caching. Aggressive object-cache configurations (e.g. Redis, Memcached) may briefly extend the API response cache beyond the intended 5-minute window. This does not cause data loss but may delay propagation of API state changes by a few minutes after upgrade or key changes.
