Forge Barcode Fulfilment Manager for WooCommerce – Order Scanner & PDF Invoices
Forge Barcode Fulfilment Manager gives a WooCommerce store the barcode and order fulfilment tools a small warehouse actually needs. Every new order gets its own QR code. Your staff scan that code on a simple front-end page, the order is looked up and previewed, and its status advances in one tap. Any order can be printed as a branded PDF invoice.
Barcodes and QR codes
- Generates a QR code automatically for every new WooCommerce order.
- The barcode value encodes the WooCommerce order ID, so one scan resolves straight to the right order.
- Optionally attaches the QR code image to your WooCommerce order emails.
- Admin metabox on the order screen showing the barcode image, with a one-click regenerate button.
Order scanning
- A front-end scanner page via the
[forge_ops_scanner]shortcode, restricted to users who can manage WooCommerce. - Works with USB and handheld barcode readers — the keyboard-wedge kind that type what they scan — and with manual entry when you would rather key an order number in by hand.
- The scanner looks the order up, previews it, and advances its status (to processing or completed, for example) in a single tap.
- Configurable per-status scanning workflow, plus an optional auto-complete countdown.
- REST endpoints (
forge-ops/v1/order-preview,forge-ops/v1/scan) protected by capability and nonce checks.
PDF invoices
- Branded PDF invoice generated on demand for any order.
- Print Invoice and Mark Complete buttons on every row of the WooCommerce Orders screen.
- Signed download links, plus a Download Invoice action in My Account > Orders so customers can fetch their own invoices.
- Invoice metabox on the order edit screen.
All generated files are stored in unguessable, per-site upload directories and served only through signed handlers, so customer documents are not publicly enumerable.
Who this is for
Small and mid-size WooCommerce stores that pick and pack their own orders: warehouse and dispatch teams working down a queue of orders, a one-person operation at a packing bench, click-and-collect counters checking orders in, and anyone currently reading order numbers off a screen and typing them into a search box. If your staff handle the same orders every day, one scan per order is quicker than hunting for it.
Premium (Forge Barcode Fulfilment Manager Pro add-on)
The following are provided by the separate Pro add-on and are not included in this free plugin:

- A6 combined order label (barcode + address + item list).
- Extra scan actions (mark dispatched, add order notes, print documents on scan).
- Scan history log with per-order timeline, filterable admin log and CSV export.
