RxCompliant for WooCommerce
RxCompliant for WooCommerce is a connector plugin: it integrates your WooCommerce store with RxCompliant, a commercial software-as-a-service (SaaS) hosted at https://rxcompliant.com and operated by Seztech Inc. (https://seztech.com). Prescription files and related order/product data are sent to RxCompliant over HTTPS for processing; verification, storage, and dashboards are provided by that external service, not by this plugin alone.
RxCompliant for WooCommerce adds prescription upload verification to any product in your WooCommerce store. When a customer tries to buy a product that requires a prescription (CPAP machines, oxygen concentrators, wheelchairs, compression stockings, etc.), they must upload a valid prescription document before they can add it to their cart.
How It Works
- Install & Connect – Install the plugin, enter your API key from rxcompliant.com
- Tag Products – Check «Requires Prescription» on any product in the product editor
- Customer Uploads – A drag-and-drop upload widget appears on the product page
- AI Verifies – RxCompliant’s AI analyzes the prescription in under 30 seconds
- NPI Verification – The prescribing doctor’s NPI number is checked against the federal registry
- Review & Approve – View all prescriptions in WP Admin and approve/reject with one click
What Gets Verified
- Doctor/provider letterhead present
- Valid signature on the prescription
- NPI number lookup against federal registry (npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov)
- Provider is authorized to prescribe (MD, DO, NP, PA, etc.)
- Prescription date (not expired – within 12 months)
- Patient name and prescribed item extracted

Privacy
Prescription files are uploaded to RxCompliant’s secure servers for AI analysis. Files are stored in encrypted cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) and are never publicly accessible. RxCompliant does not share prescription data with third parties. See our privacy policy.
External services
This plugin requires an active connection to RxCompliant (API base: https://rxcompliant.com/api and https://rxcompliant.com/api/wc for WooCommerce-specific endpoints).
- What is sent: Prescription uploads (e.g. PDF, JPG, PNG), product identifiers, store URL, and optional customer email/name when available—only as needed to verify the prescription and link it to the order.
- When: Data is transmitted when a shopper uploads a prescription, when staff use the in-admin dashboards (Prescriptions, Reports), and when the store validates cart/checkout state.
- Who: Data is processed and stored by Seztech Inc. on RxCompliant infrastructure (see Privacy Policy and Terms of Service).
- Account: Merchants need a free or paid RxCompliant account and an API key from rxcompliant.com; the plugin cannot verify prescriptions without it.
