Strive Content Calendar

Strive turns WordPress into a practical editorial workspace for writers and teams. See every article, understand its stage, follow the right process, and catch publishing gaps without moving your work into another platform.

Use the visual Calendar to plan what ships next, the Pipeline to see work in progress, reusable checklists to make quality repeatable, and Local Readiness to catch missing essentials before an article goes live.

Plan every article in one visual Calendar

See scheduled and unscheduled posts together, navigate a four-week editorial view, search your content, filter by editorial status, and open any article without leaving the workspace.

Keep work moving through a clear Pipeline

Strive adds four practical editorial stages—Not Started, Writing, Editing, and Complete—without replacing WordPress draft and publishing states. That gives you a useful view of progress before publication.

Make your process repeatable with checklists

Build reusable editorial checklists once and follow them on every article. Writers can see the next step, editors can see progress, and important publishing details stop living in somebody’s memory.

Keep editorial context beside the article

Add private editorial notes and checklist progress from the WordPress editor or the Strive workspace. Your published article remains normal WordPress content.

Check readiness before you publish

Local Readiness checks the saved article for practical publishing essentials, including its title, content, excerpt, featured image, editorial stage, and checklist completion. It runs locally and does not require AI.

You can also copy a structured review brief into the external writing or review tool of your choice.

Work your way

  • Choose Solo Workspace for a focused personal workflow.
  • Choose Team Workspace to keep authorship and coordination context visible.
  • Use Automatic, Light, or Dark appearance modes.
  • Change workspace modes later without migrating article data.

Everything above is genuinely Free

Strive Free is a complete, non-expiring editorial workflow. No Strive account, AI connection, usage quota, trial, or payment is required.

Go further with Strive Pro

For writers and teams that want deeper editorial intelligence, the separately distributed Strive Pro build adds:

  • Enhanced Readiness through the AI provider connected to WordPress—Strive does not ask you to paste provider keys into the plugin.
  • Evidence-linked editorial feedback with controlled, guided fixes.
  • Internal-link suggestions drawn from your published article library.
  • Reusable content briefs that keep intent, audience, structure, and requirements visible.
  • Revision workflows for improving published articles without disrupting the live version.
  • Refresh Radar to surface older content that may need attention.

Explore Strive Pro and see how Strive can support the full lifecycle of every article.

Strive Pro is distributed separately. Its executable features are not included in this WordPress.org package, and Strive Free remains fully functional without purchasing or activating Pro.

Focused on articles

Strive 2 manages the built-in WordPress Posts type. Pages, products, and custom post types remain untouched and do not appear in active Strive workflows. If an earlier Strive version stored metadata for those content types, that historical metadata is preserved during the update.

External Services

Strive includes the Freemius WordPress SDK for optional usage insights, account management, purchases, licensing, and updates for the separately distributed Pro plugin.

Freemius displays a consent screen. You may skip it and continue using every feature included in Strive Free. If you opt in, Freemius may receive basic profile, website, and product information and—if separately permitted—information about installed themes and plugins. Consent can be changed later from the WordPress Plugins screen or the Strive Account screen.

Purchasing or activating the separately distributed Pro plugin communicates with Freemius because Freemius provides its billing, licensing, account, and update services.

Strive Free’s Calendar, Pipeline, checklists, onboarding, settings, diagnostics, and Local Readiness screens use assets packaged with the plugin. Freemius account and purchase flows may communicate with Freemius and load its service assets when those flows are opened or used.

Privacy

Article titles, article bodies, editorial notes, checklist text, and Local Readiness results remain in WordPress when using Strive Free. Strive’s Site Health information intentionally excludes post titles, notes, checklist text, provider credentials, and license details.

The Freemius communication described above occurs only according to the consent and account choices presented to the user. Site owners remain responsible for describing installed plugins and services in their own privacy notice where required.

Development

Human-readable JavaScript, Gutenberg, and Sass source is included in the plugin’s source-code directory. Release assets are compiled with esbuild and Dart Sass. Runtime assets are bundled locally.

Support

Documentation and product information are available at strivecalendar.com. WordPress.org users may also use the plugin’s support forum after directory publication.
