  I added a blavatar. I understand that a blavatar will be the icon in the address bar. So far, the WordPress icon is showing up. I uploaded it in settings under “blog picture / icon.” The picture is uploaded but it’s not showing up in the address bar. Is there something else I need to do or does it take a while?

  Does it show your blavatar at settings > general in the dashboard?

  If so, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to as much as a few hours for it to show up on your blog. Also, you have to keep clearing your browser cache regularly till it shows up. Browsers cache blavatars and will not update till the cache is cleared.

  Hi, and thanks for the reply.

  Yes, my blavatar shows in the settings, general in the dashboard. I cleared my cache and it’s not showing. I’ll wait a few days and in the meantime, continue to clear my cache.

  Right now I’m seeing what possibly looks like a book as your blavatar.

  that’s it. Hmmm, it’s not showing up for me. If you can’t really tell it’s a book, then it’s not a good blavatar, LOL. I may have to change it but I will have to wait until I can see it.

  If the blavatar shows up for others but not you then I recommend clearing the cache and cookies again then restart the browser.

  It’s finally working. Took clearing the cache a few times for it to finally show up.
