    Hello,

I have a website on wordpress.com for a while now, but the look is wrong and the text needs to be replaced.

so a partner of mine created a new website to replace the old one and used HTML5up-alpha to make it and sent me the file of it. but now I don’t know how to upload the new website to WordPress.com to replace the look of the old one. mind you this is not just a piece of text or only one page, it is the whole website in the index.html

i tried using elementor and the shorttext method, I tried altering it using theme editor with CSS, and I tried HTML import 2.

    but none of them work.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can’t insert a html-site into wordpress.com. Also html5-up is only in alpha meaning it isn’t stable, it isn’t compatible with webstandards.

You can only copy the flat content into wordpress.com.

Another solution is to buy yourself hosting and upload that site yourself. But as html5-up alpha isn’t compatible with most browsers, this would be tricky business and a lot of of people wouldn’t be able to see your site.
