Jump/anchor link

    I am trying to create a jump/anchor link to click on a heading at the top of a page that will take the user to the applicable section on the same page.

    Wordpress help say to click on the text in the block, then click ‘advanced settings’ and type in the wording for the link. When I click on advanced settings, there is no space for me to do this.

    Am I missing something?

    Are you trying to follow the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps/?

    That HTML anchor field is only available for heading blocks. Are you perhaps trying to use a different type of block?

    It would help if you can give us a link to the specific page you’re working on (or the title if it’s still a draft), and also indicate what text you want the jump link to go to.
