Starting from version 1.1, this plugin requires the WP Consent API plugin to be installed and active. It uses the WP Consent API to register and manage user consent in a standardized way across your WordPress site.

Use of External Service

This plugin relies on CookiePal, an external service for managing cookie consent banners. For the plugin to function, users must enter their CookiePal Website ID, which allows the consent banner to load dynamically. When using CookiePal Banner, user consent information may be sent to CookiePal’s service to manage preferences.

Setup & Configuration

1. Go to Settings > CookiePal Banner in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Enter your CookiePal Website ID in the provided field.
3. Click Save Settings.
4. The CookiePal consent banner will now automatically load on your website!
