Xyvorex AI Receptionist connects to the OpenAI API.
The site owner must provide their own OpenAI API key. OpenAI is used to generate AI replies and analyse website content during Website Training.
Data sent to OpenAI may include:
- Visitor questions
- Recent conversation context
- Website content collected during Website Training
- Saved business knowledge needed to generate a reply
Requests are sent only when:
- A visitor or administrator asks the AI a question
- The administrator runs Website Training
OpenAI API usage and billing are managed by the site owner’s OpenAI account.

The frontend chat transcript may be stored locally in the visitor’s browser for up to 7 days. It may be visible to other users of the same browser or device. Visitors can clear it using Start New Conversation.
