AI Writer & Gemini
The optional GGR AI Writer uses Google Gemini for AI-assisted content creation and improvement.

The Free version uses Google Gemini as its AI provider. Other AI providers such as OpenAI and Claude are not enabled in the public Free build.
The AI Writer does not require a GGR account. The site administrator configures a Gemini API key in the plugin settings.
When an AI operation is requested, the plugin sends the prompt and the minimum content context required for that request to Google Gemini. The Gemini API key is stored in the WordPress site settings and is not exposed to visitors or browser JavaScript.
Do not submit confidential, personal, regulated, or otherwise sensitive information to an AI provider unless you are authorized to do so.
Advanced GGR AI capabilities such as deeper keyword intelligence, semantic intelligence, content-gap analysis, bulk optimization, AEO/GEO intelligence, and other advanced capabilities may be provided separately through a substantive GGR service or add-on. These advanced capabilities are not required to use the basic AI Writer.
Setting Up Gemini AI
To use the optional AI Writer:
- Go to GGR Website Audit → Settings → AI Settings.
- Open Google AI Studio: https://aistudio.google.com/app/apikey
- Sign in with your Google account.
- Create or select a Gemini API key.
- Copy the API key.
- Return to the GGR AI Settings page.
- Paste the key into the Gemini API Key field.
- Save the settings.
- Use the available connection test to verify the configuration.
The Gemini API key is supplied by the site administrator and is used for AI requests made from the WordPress installation. GGR does not require users to create a GGR account for the basic AI Writer.
Google Gemini service terms and policies apply to requests made through the Gemini API. Site administrators should review Google's current documentation and terms before enabling AI features.
