SkyLight Chat AI Web Widget

SkyLight Chat AI Web Widget connects your WordPress site to your SkyLight Chat workspace. Visitors can chat with your AI assistant, and conversations can be handed off to human agents in your SkyLight Chat inbox.

What you need before you start

1. A SkyLight Chat account at skylightchat.com
2. Web Chat enabled for your workspace
3. An API key from the SkyLight Chat dashboard (Settings → API or Settings → Web Chat)

Setup (from a fresh install)

1. Install and activate SkyLight Chat AI Web Widget
2. In WordPress, open Settings → SkyLight Chat AI Web Widget
3. Paste your API key
4. Optionally set widget color, position (left or right), and light or dark theme
5. Turn Enable widget on and click Save

The chat bubble then appears on your site for visitors. Chat messages are handled by SkyLight Chat — they are not stored inside WordPress.

Privacy

This plugin sends visitor chat content and basic page context (page URL, referrer, session identifiers) to your SkyLight Chat account so conversations can be answered. Review SkyLight Chat’s privacy policy for how that data is handled.

• A valid API key (sk_live_…)
