Search complete names
Multiple words use AND matching automatically.
For example, consider a user with:
- First name: Charles
- Last name: King
- Display name: Chuck
The following searches can find the user:
CharlesKingCharles KingKing CharlesCharles AND KingCharles OR Chuck
Each word can match a different searchable field. This means Charles King can find the user even when the display name is Chuck.
Use AND and OR searches
Use AND when every search term must match:
Charles AND King
Use OR when either search term can match:
Charles OR Chuck
The AND and OR operators are case-insensitive.
Automatic custom-field search
Safe custom user fields are searched automatically. There is no settings page and administrators do not need to select individual fields.
Searchable information can include:
- Phone numbers
- Company names
- Membership numbers
- Customer references
- Account identifiers
- Custom profile information
- Safe WooCommerce billing information

Security-conscious searching
Common sensitive and internal fields are excluded automatically, including fields related to:
