EAN, UPC and ISBN for WooCommerce
EAN, UPC and ISBN for WooCommerce is a free WordPress plugin that lets you assign and display EAN (EAN-8, EAN-13), UPC-A, ITF-14, and ISBN barcode identifiers on every product in your WooCommerce store — including simple products, variable products, and individual product variations.
Once a barcode number is saved to a product, the plugin can automatically display it as formatted text and as a rendered barcode image across your WooCommerce store: on individual product pages, shop archive pages, order summary pages, thank-you pages, and via a flexible shortcode for any custom placement. A full barcode style editor lets you control the visual appearance of every generated barcode image from a dedicated settings panel — no coding required.
Requires WooCommerce to be installed and activated.
Why Use EAN, UPC and ISBN for WooCommerce?
Product identifiers like EAN, UPC, and GTIN are essential for global retail compliance, Google Shopping feeds, marketplace listings (Amazon, eBay, Google Merchant Center), schema-based SEO markup, and inventory management. WooCommerce stores the GTIN/EAN value natively in the _global_unique_id product meta field, and this plugin reads and displays that value everywhere your customers and systems need it — without any additional field setup.
Beyond text display, the plugin renders fully styled, print-quality barcode images directly on your storefront using the JsBarcode library. Barcode format is automatically detected from the number length (EAN-8, UPC-A, EAN-13, ITF-14), and every visual aspect of the barcode is configurable from the admin panel.
