A simple, lightweight plugin to enhance WordPress user profiles by allowing username changes and custom avatars selected from the Media Library.
This plugin solves two common frustrations with default WordPress user profiles:
- Inability to Change Usernames: By default, a username cannot be changed after creation. This plugin adds a simple field for administrators to update any user’s username directly from their profile page.
- Reliance on Gravatar: This plugin allows your users to set their own profile picture by selecting an image directly from the WordPress Media Library, giving them more control and overriding the default Gravatar. If no custom avatar is set, a clean placeholder image is used instead.
