How To Use
Awesome FAQ provides two easy ways to add FAQs to your website: Gutenberg Block and Shortcode.
1. Using Gutenberg Block
- Open the WordPress Block/Gutenberg Editor on any page or post.
- Click the Add Block (+) button.
- Search for Awesome FAQ in the block directory.
- Click on the block to add it to your content.
- Customize the FAQ section using the block settings:
- Choose a theme (free or Pro)
- Set colors, icons, typography, and toggle options
- Add questions and answers
- Preview and publish your page. Your FAQ section is now live!
2. Using Shortcode (via Custom Post Type)
- In the WordPress dashboard, go to Awesome FAQ → Add New FAQ.
- Enter your question and answer for each FAQ item.
- Assign categories or groups if needed (for multiple FAQ sections).
- Click Publish to save the FAQ item.
- Copy the generated shortcode displayed on the page.
- Paste the shortcode into any post, page, or widget where you want the FAQ to appear.
- Save and preview to see your FAQs in action.
3. Using WooCommerce Product FAQs (Pro)
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard and edit a WooCommerce product.
- Scroll down to the Product FAQ — Awesome FAQ box.
- Check the Show FAQ Section on This Product option.
- Customize your FAQs manually or click ✨ Auto-Generate from Product to generate content instantly using AI.
- Select your preferred theme from the layout dropdown.
- Click Update to publish the product.
- Configure global settings (such as API keys and display position) at WooCommerce → Settings → FAQ AI Settings.
