MKE Admin Menu Cleaner for Clients

MKE Admin Menu Cleaner for Clients helps WordPress site owners, freelancers, and agencies reduce admin clutter by hiding selected top-level admin menu items for registered WordPress roles.

The plugin focuses on one simple job: making the WordPress admin area easier for clients and staff to use. It does not replace WordPress capabilities or permissions. It only changes which top-level admin menu items are visible for selected registered WordPress roles.

Role handling:

• The plugin lists registered WordPress roles available on the site.
• This includes the default WordPress roles and roles added by plugins or themes.
• The settings screen uses a simple section labeled WordPress Roles.

Choose one role from the dropdown, then check the menu items to hide for that role.

Protected lockout controls:

• The Admin Menu Cleaner top-level menu cannot be hidden.
• The WordPress Plugins listing cannot be hidden.
• Protected items are removed from checkbox lists and stripped from saved settings.
