Verifactu para WooCommerce – Finseed

Automatic Verifactu invoicing for every WooCommerce sale and refund. Finseed turns your orders and refunds into compliant invoices, submits them to the Spanish tax agency (Agencia Tributaria, AEAT) and sends them to your customers. You keep selling. Finseed takes care of the invoices.

If your business invoices in Spain and sells through WooCommerce, Finseed is built for you. It covers sales in mainland Spain, the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the European Union and the rest of the world, whether you sell goods or services.

No digital certificate. No extra PDF invoice plugin. No manual invoicing for routine WooCommerce sales.

What is Finseed?

Finseed is a complete Verifactu invoicing service for e-commerce. It decides which invoice and tax treatment each sale needs, checks the order before issuing anything and keeps the entire invoicing record ready for you and your accountant.

At a glance:

✅ Automatic invoices for orders and full or partial refunds ✅ Verifactu submission to the AEAT, with the required QR and fingerprint ✅ Correct IVA, IGIC, IPSI, OSS, reverse charge and export treatment ✅ NIF/CIF capture and validation at checkout only when needed ✅ Full, simplified and corrective invoices in one service ✅ Branded invoices, customer delivery and self-service downloads ✅ Clear reports and PDF or Excel exports ✅ Unlimited free test mode before your first real invoice

Use Finseed free forever in test mode, with no card, until you feel confident going live. Real invoicing and submissions to the AEAT start at €14.95/month, with no annual commitment.

Every order and refund invoiced automatically

Choose which WooCommerce order status should trigger invoicing. When an order reaches that point, Finseed creates the correct full or simplified invoice, submits it to the AEAT and can email it to your customer with your logo.

A full or partial refund creates the matching corrective invoice automatically. If one item from a three-item order is refunded, Finseed corrects that item and its taxes. Corrective invoices are included in every plan.

If customer or tax data needs attention, Finseed pauses the invoice and tells you what to correct before anything incorrect reaches the AEAT.

The right tax treatment wherever you sell

Finseed classifies each order line using your business location, the customer’s location and tax status, and whether you sold goods or services. This covers:

  • IVA at standard, reduced and super-reduced rates.
  • IGIC and IPSI for the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.
  • OSS for distance sales to consumers in the European Union.
  • Reverse charge for qualifying sales to European Union businesses, including VIES validation.
  • Export exemptions and the correct place-of-supply rules for international goods and services.
  • Recargo de equivalencia when the sale requires it.

Each invoice also receives the legal mentions required for its operation. You do not need to maintain tax rules or invoice templates for every destination.

Ask for the NIF without adding friction to every checkout

Finseed adds an invoice request and NIF/CIF field to both the classic and block checkout. Buyers provide their tax details when they need a full invoice, while other customers can complete their purchase without unnecessary fields. The tax number is checked before payment so you can correct it before invoicing.

No digital certificate and no patchwork of plugins

Finseed is an AEAT colaborador social, so we submit your invoices with our own certificate. You do not need to obtain, install, renew or share a digital certificate.

One service covers full and simplified invoices, corrective invoices, customer emails, your logo, legal mentions, reports and exports. You do not need to buy a separate PDF invoice or corrective invoice extension.

Finseed publishes its Verifactu responsible declaration, the document Spanish law requires from invoicing software providers.

Your invoices and numbers stay under your control

See revenue, invoices, corrective invoices and exempt operations by period. Export your records to PDF or Excel whenever your accountant needs them.

You can continue an existing invoice series when you move to Finseed, even in the middle of the year. You can also create invoices for sales outside WooCommerce and connect several stores to the same business.

Your records remain available if you cancel, and you can export them whenever you want. A future tax inspection should not depend on keeping a subscription.

External services

This plugin depends on the Finseed service to work, and therefore sends data to Finseed (operated by the company behind https://finseed.es). No other third-party service is contacted.

Data moves between your store and Finseed in three distinct ways:

  1. Finseed API (https://woo.finseed.es) Used to verify your plugin key and to validate the NIF/CIF entered at checkout.

    • When: when you connect the plugin on the settings page, and every time a buyer enters a NIF/CIF during checkout.
    • Data sent: your plugin key; and, for tax ID validation, the buyer’s NIF/CIF, their name or company name, and the billing country.
  2. Finseed order ingest (https://woo-ingest.finseed.es) A notification that something happened, so Finseed knows to build an invoice.

    • When: when an order is created, updated, changes status or is refunded.
    • Data sent: your plugin key, the WooCommerce order ID, the order number and the order’s creation and last-modified dates. This particular event carries no customer or line-item data.
  3. WooCommerce webhooks and order retrieval The notification above carries only identifiers, so the order itself reaches Finseed two further ways. Finseed registers WooCommerce’s own webhooks in your store pointing at https://<finseed host>/api/woocommerce/webhooks, and WooCommerce delivers the complete order or refund payload to them directly. Finseed also reads order and refund records back from your store’s WooCommerce REST API (/wp-json/wc/v3/...) using the credentials established when you connected, to build an invoice or to reconcile one.

    • When: on each order or refund change, and whenever an invoice has to be built, rebuilt or reconciled.
    • Data transferred: the complete order and refund records. That includes the customer’s name and contact details, billing and shipping addresses, line items, tax lines, totals, currency and payment-method metadata. This is the data that appears on the invoice and in the Verifactu record.

Finseed may also call your store on an authenticated endpoint to read the installed plugin version, so it can tell you when an update is available. This requires your plugin key; the version is never exposed publicly.

By connecting the plugin to your Finseed account you accept Finseed’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy:

Data the plugin stores in your store

The plugin generates an installation identifier and stores it in the WordPress options, under finseed_install_id. It is a random 32-character value. It holds no personal data, does not describe your store, and is not derived from your web address or from any business data. It exists to identify this installation in a stable way. In this version it is not sent anywhere: it is only stored in your store.

This value is kept when you uninstall the plugin. That is deliberate: it is preserved so that future versions that use it can recognise this installation as the same one as before, rather than as a new one.

The rest of the plugin’s data (your settings and your plugin key) is deleted on uninstall, so after reinstalling you will have to connect the plugin with your key again. Responses the plugin caches temporarily are also deleted from the database; if your store uses an external cache such as Redis or Memcached, those responses are not deleted at that moment, but they expire on their own within five minutes at most.

If you want to remove the identifier as well, delete it by hand after uninstalling the plugin:

Source code and build process

This plugin ships with its complete, human-readable source code. The compiled JavaScript in assets/js/build/ is generated from client/:

  • assets/js/build/settings-page.js is compiled from client/settings-page/index.jsx
  • assets/js/build/legacy-checkout.js is compiled from client/legacy-checkout/index.js

The build uses @wordpress/scripts (webpack and Babel), configured in the bundled webpack.config.js, babel.config.js and package.json. To rebuild from source, run pnpm install --frozen-lockfile then pnpm build from the plugin directory.
