Vaakuos Connector for WooCommerce

Vaakuos Connector for WooCommerce bridges your WooCommerce store with the Vaakuos WhatsApp engagement platform. It records the events that matter — abandoned carts, orders, and customer changes — and delivers them to your Vaakuos account asynchronously and reliably.

Features

• Honors opt-in/consent before sending marketing events, and integrates with WordPress privacy export/erase.

External services

This plugin connects to the Vaakuos API to deliver store events so Vaakuos can send WhatsApp messages on your behalf. This connection is essential to the plugin’s purpose — without it, no events are delivered.

What is sent, and when:

• When a cart is abandoned or recovered, an order is created or changes status, or a customer registers/updates their details, the plugin sends a JSON event to https://api.vaakuos.com/events (or the base URL you configure).
• Each request includes your Vaakuos API key (as a Bearer token) and event data such as: customer name, email, phone number, cart/order contents, order totals, and your store URL and name.
• Requests are authenticated with the API key you enter in the plugin settings.

The Vaakuos service is provided by Vaakuos. By configuring an API key and enabling the plugin, you agree to Vaakuos’s terms and privacy policy:

No data is sent until you enter an API key and enable the plugin in Vaakuos → Settings.

• vaakuos_wc_cart_optin — resolve a cart contact’s consent.
• vaakuos_wc_contact_optin — resolve a registered customer’s consent.
• vaakuos_wc_order_optin — resolve consent for order events (default true; transactional).
• vaakuos_wc_request_body — modify the outbound payload before delivery.
• vaakuos_wc_event_logged — act after an event is recorded.
