Cirquly is consignment management software built for second-hand retailers. This plugin connects WooCommerce to your Cirquly back-office and synchronizes inventory and transactions from Cirquly to WooCommerce. All products are created and managed in Cirquly and published to WooCommerce. When an item sells in-store, stock levels in WooCommerce are automatically updated. Please note: * Online orders are not automatically synced back to Cirquly. * WooCommerce sales must be processed manually in Cirquly. * Product creation and inventory management happen in Cirquly. This integration is designed for: * Physical consignment stores expanding into e-commerce * Online resale retailers managing consignment professionally * Online resale retailers planning pop-ups or physical store locations Requires WooCommerce to be installed and active. An active Cirquly subscription is required.

External services

The Cirquly plugin for WooCommerce connects your WooCommerce store to the Cirquly API. To allow communication between Cirquly and your WooCommerce store it collects the store’s URL, an api key and an api secret that is used to connect to the WooCommerce Admin API. Other than that, Cirquly does not collect data from WooCommerce. It sends updates from its own product database to WooCommerce. Updates are sent when a product is created or product stock levels are changed in Cirquly. This service is provided by Cirquly B.V.: terms of use, privacy policy.

During activation of the plugin, WooCommerce sends requests to two Cirquly endpoints:

The initialization endpoint:

This endpoint initiates the process of connecting Cirquly and WooCommerce. WooCommerce sends the store’s URL, which is saved by Cirquly. The Cirquly endpoint responds by sending security related data that is used during the rest of the connection process.

The registration endpoint:

This endpoint collects the store’s Admin API key and secret. This data can be used to interact with the store’s Admin API and should be kept safely. Cirquly handles your credentials with care and is not shared with other services.

When deactivating the plugin, WooCommerce sends a request to the following Cirquly endpoint:

The deregistration endpoint:

This endpoint deactivates the connection between WooCommerce and Cirquly and is used when the Cirquly plugin for WooCommerce is deactivated. The collected store data is not removed, but kept safely. It is maintained so that connection related data can be restored in case of future installs of the Cirquly plugin.

After installation, during normal operation, the plugin does not collect data from Cirquly; it sends data from Cirquly to your WooCommerce store using the WooCommerce Admin API. The data send are newly added products and stock level updates.
