How It Works

1. Install and activate the plugin
2. Go to Seenalt in the admin menu

External Services

This plugin uses an external service to provide AI-powered ALT text generation and image optimization.

Seenalt API

• Service: Seenalt API (https://wpiaa-api.onrender.com)
• Purpose: Generate ALT text using AI vision, create image optimization jobs, and return usage status.
• When data is sent:
  • When opening plugin dashboard/usage screens (site status check).
  • When starting single or bulk ALT/optimization jobs.
  • When checking job status.
• Consent/control:
  • External image processing can be controlled from plugin settings.
  • If external processing consent is disabled, job processing requests are blocked.
• Data sent may include:
  • Site URL and hashed site ID.
  • Image data (base64 payload) for processing jobs.
  • Attachment ID, selected language, job type, optimization format, quality, and max ALT length.
  • Optional page/post context text (if enabled in settings).
