External services
This plugin connects your site to daita, a third-party AI service, to provide the chat/voice assistant. This is required for the assistant to work.
- It loads the widget script from
https://daita-ai.com/embed.js. - When a visitor opens the chat, the widget sends their messages (and, only if you enable
voice, audio) together with your Workspace ID to the daita backend
(
https://*.cloudfunctions.net) to generate replies. The widget also sends a one-time per-session “heartbeat” (your site’s hostname + Workspace ID) so you can confirm the agent is installed. - No data is sent until a visitor interacts with the widget (the heartbeat aside).
