TourTask
Seamlessly and effortlessly integrate our modern booking system for local tour operators with your WordPress website using TourTask. Your availability checks and bookings will all happen in real-time, as the plugin is connected directly to your TourTask business panel.
TourTask is a connector plugin: the booking and chat interfaces are part of the hosted TourTask application and are loaded from TourTask’s servers, so they always stay in sync with your TourTask account. Using the plugin requires a TourTask account (you enter your Business ID and Business Token from your TourTask business portal). External services
This plugin is a connector for the TourTask booking platform (a Software-as-a-Service for tour and activity operators). To provide its functionality it relies on, and transmits data to, the external services listed below. By installing and configuring this plugin you connect your site to the TourTask service; using TourTask is subject to its Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
-
TourTask Booking & Chat application (tourtask-booking.pages.dev) — When a page contains the
[tourtask]shortcode, or when the optional chat widget is enabled, the plugin loads the hosted TourTask booking application (/static/js/main.js) and/or chat application (/static/js/chat.js) into the visitor’s browser. This JavaScript is the TourTask application itself — served and versioned by TourTask so it always stays in sync with your TourTask account; the stylesheets that go with it are bundled in the plugin and served locally, not loaded remotely. To render your storefront and process bookings/chat, the application sends your configured Business ID, Business Token, the selected language, and the booking/chat details a visitor enters to the TourTask API. This happens in the visitor’s browser whenever such a page is viewed. -
TourTask API (api.tourtask.com) — The booking and chat interfaces communicate with the TourTask API to fetch availability, create bookings, take payments, and exchange chat messages, using your Business ID and Business Token.
-
TourTask support requests (api.tourtask.com) — When a site administrator submits the “Contact us” support form on the plugin’s Settings page, the plugin sends — from your WordPress server — the name, email address, and message you enter, together with your site URL and active theme name and version, to the TourTask API so our team can reply by email. This is sent only when you submit that form.
The plugin sends no usage analytics or telemetry and makes no automatic background calls to external servers. It contacts TourTask only to render the booking/chat interfaces described above (in the visitor’s browser) and when an administrator submits the support form.

Languages
The plugin is fully translation-ready (text domain tourtask). English is the default, and translations into any language can be contributed through the WordPress.org translation platform at https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/tourtask/.
