WriteRush is an all-in-one AI content creation tool built for WordPress. It takes you from a single idea or keyword to a fully written, SEO-optimized, publish-ready blog — including AI-generated images — without ever leaving your dashboard.
Most AI writers hand you a blank box and generic output. WriteRush is different: it follows a guided, step-by-step workflow (topic → research → outline → draft → SEO → images → publish) and learns your brand voice, so the content sounds like you instead of a robot. You stay in control at every step and can edit or regenerate anything before publishing.
Beyond blogs, WriteRush helps you repurpose content into social media posts and campaigns, generate product copy, and write directly inside Elementor, the Gutenberg block editor, and the Classic Editor.
The plugin’s editing, content management, and publishing all run on your own WordPress site. The AI generation features are powered by an external service (documented in “External services” below) and require a free WriteRush account.

How It Works
- Train your brand voice (optional). Import your posts, upload samples, or paste text so the AI matches your tone.
- Start with a topic. Enter your keyword, choose a blog type (how-to, listicle, guide, comparison, etc.), and define audience, tone, and purpose.
- Generate a smart outline. Build a SERP-based, intent-focused outline and edit the headings and structure.
- Generate and refine the draft. Produce the full article, then regenerate sections, check the SEO score, and add AI or stock images.
- Publish and promote. Send it to WordPress drafts and create matching social media posts and campaigns.

External services
WriteRush is an AI-powered content tool. Editing, content management, and publishing run on your own WordPress site, but the AI generation features and a few optional features rely on external (third-party) services. This section documents each external service the plugin connects to, what data is sent, when it is sent, and links to its terms and privacy policy. By using the related feature you consent to the data transfer described for that service. All communication uses encrypted HTTPS.
1. WriteRush AI service (back.writerush.ai)
What it is: WriteRush’s own cloud service and the only service the plugin contacts directly for AI work. It performs all AI processing (topic analysis, outlines, titles, drafts, section rewriting, SEO suggestions, keyword/SERP research, image generation, and product and social copy) and brokers the providers and social connections below. A free WriteRush account and license key (from https://app.writerush.ai) authenticate these requests.
When/what data is sent: only when you use an AI feature (e.g. generating content, an image, keyword/SERP research, training a brand voice, or activating/checking your license). Data sent: your license key; the prompts, keywords, and tone/audience settings you enter; and the source material you choose (for example, the posts or files you select to train a brand voice). WordPress passwords, user emails, other users’ data, and database contents are never sent.

2. AI providers used by the WriteRush service
To generate results, the WriteRush service processes your submitted prompts using the third-party AI providers below. The plugin does not contact these providers directly:

SERP and keyword research data is retrieved by the WriteRush service from search-results data providers.
3. Unsplash (stock images)
What it is: a free stock-photo service used by WriteRush’s automatic and section image features.
When/what data is sent: when you use a stock-image feature, the WriteRush service searches Unsplash for your topic and returns results; your site and browser then load the selected images directly from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com). Standard request data (such as your IP address) is visible to Unsplash when serving images. No account credentials or personal content are sent to Unsplash.

4. Social media platforms (optional)
What it is: when you connect a social account and publish or schedule posts, WriteRush delivers them to the chosen platform (for example Facebook or Instagram) through the WriteRush social service.
When/what data is sent: only when you explicitly connect an account or publish/schedule a post. Data sent: the authorization tokens you approve and the post content (caption and image) you choose to publish.

Accounts and AI credits
The plugin and all of its on-site features are free to use. The AI generation features run on the external WriteRush service, which uses an account-based credit allowance. A free account includes a starting allowance of AI credits with no time limit; more credits are available through optional paid plans. Running out of credits only pauses new AI generation — content already saved on your site stays fully accessible and editable.
