Boto AI Pilot (By Thaikadar ( ٹھیکیدار ))

Boto AI Pilot adds a floating chat widget to your site that answers visitor questions about your services and pricing, and captures contact details from interested visitors directly into your WordPress dashboard.

The plugin works with either the OpenAI API or the Google Gemini API — you provide your own key for whichever you prefer. To keep API costs down, it only sends the model a small, relevant slice of your business information for each question (services, FAQs, or contact details, depending on what the visitor asked) rather than your full knowledge base on every request. Common chit-chat (greetings, thanks) and high-confidence FAQ matches are answered locally without calling the API at all.

If no API key is configured, the widget still works using a local keyword-matching fallback against the services and FAQs you’ve entered — it simply won’t have full conversational ability.

Third-Party Services

This plugin can optionally connect to a third-party AI API to generate conversational responses. No data is sent to any external service until you enter your own API key in Settings. Without a key, the plugin uses only its local keyword-matching fallback.

Only one provider is called per message, determined by which API key format you’ve entered. You are responsible for that provider’s usage costs and for complying with their terms.
