This plugin connects to the KuvarPay API and loads the KuvarPay JavaScript SDK to process cryptocurrency and fiat payments through your WooCommerce store. Use of the plugin requires a KuvarPay merchant account.

KuvarPay Payment API

• Service: KuvarPay (operated by KuvarPay).
• What it does: Creates checkout sessions, processes payments, returns payment status, and delivers webhook callbacks for real-time payment updates.
• Supported merchant regions: Currently available to businesses and merchants in Nigeria, Ghana, Rwanda, Kenya, and South Africa.
• What data is sent and when:
  • When a customer places an order with the KuvarPay payment method or visits the order-pay / order-received page, the plugin transmits: site URL (origin), order ID and reference, order amount, currency, line-item metadata, customer billing email and name, the merchant’s KuvarPay API key and business ID (server-to-server), and the configured webhook callback URL.
  • Inbound webhooks from KuvarPay are received at ?wc-api=kuvarpay_webhook on your site and contain the payment session ID, transaction ID, status, amount, currency, and event type. Inbound webhook payloads are stored in the plugin’s webhook log table for debugging; sensitive request headers (cookies, Authorization, API keys) are stripped before storage.
  • No data is sent until the customer initiates a payment or your site receives a webhook.
