Musee

by Automattic

Musee is a WordPress theme tailored for museums and galleries. Crafted to showcase artistic collections with elegance, Musee offers immersive visuals and seamless navigation, while providing visitors with all the practical details they need. Perfect for institutions aiming to blend historical richness with modern design.

Theme configuration

Musee comes with an advanced homepage design that lets you showcase current exhibitions and collections, plus a space  for visitor information. You can edit the homepage via the Site Editor, accessible from your dashboard, via Appearance > Editor.

The exhibitions section on the homepage displays sticky posts only. Follow these instructions to mark a post as sticky.

The collections at the bottom of the homepage displays regular posts, excluding sticky posts, so they won’t be duplicated. For best results each post should include featured image.
