RankParse SEO

RankParse is an SEO data API (backlinks, domain authority, tech stack, and more) built on Common Crawl data.

This plugin connects your RankParse API key and adds four things to wp-admin:

• SEO Health dashboard widget — health score, domain authority, and referring domain count for this site, right on the main WordPress dashboard.
• RankParse Report page — a full backlink health report (risk flags, link quality breakdown, anchor text profile, top and risky backlinks, outbound link summary), refreshable on demand.
• RankParse -> Customize — preview and configure the hosted widget with accent/background colors, brand name, and height, then copy its shortcode. The admin preview is rendered locally; the hosted widget is loaded only where the shortcode or block is placed.
• [rankparse_score] shortcode and block — embeds RankParse’s hosted backlink-report widget (a domain + email lead-capture form that emails visitors a PDF SEO report) anywhere on your site. The block editor shows a local preview; the hosted widget loads on the published page.

The dashboard widget and report page require a free RankParse API key (get one at rankparse.com). The shortcode/block work without a key and carry a “Powered by RankParse” attribution. For agency white-labeling, add a separate public embed key under Settings; only use a key intended for public embeds because it is visible to visitors in the iframe URL.

Usage

Connect your API key under RankParse -> Settings, then check RankParse -> Report for the full backlink health report.

Shortcode:

Optional attributes: domain, color, bg, name, api_key, height.

Or use the “RankParse Backlink Report” block from the block inserter.

External services

This plugin embeds RankParse’s hosted backlink-report widget from rankparse.com. When a visitor submits the embedded form, the visitor’s domain and email address are sent to RankParse so it can generate and deliver the requested PDF report. The dashboard and Report page send the configured site’s domain to api.rankparse.com using the private API key configured in Settings.

An optional public embed key may be sent to the hosted widget to enable agency white-labeling. Any key in a public iframe URL is visible to visitors; use an agency key intended for embeds, not a private admin credential. See RankParse’s privacy policy and terms of service.
