External Services
This plugin connects to FedEx Web Services (the FedEx Developer REST API) to fetch live shipping rates. This connection is required for the plugin’s core function — without it, no FedEx rates can be displayed.
- What is sent, and when: on each cart/checkout rate request — and when you save the settings to validate your credentials and load available services — the plugin sends the shipment origin and destination address details (country, state, city, postal/ZIP code), the package weight and dimensions, and your configured FedEx API credentials to FedEx.
