Uplink Unified Ops Center adds a focused operations panel to the WordPress admin bar. It brings content, media, templates, patterns, site architecture, installed plugins, builder resources, and administrator-defined quick links into one searchable interface.
The plugin works with WordPress on its own and adapts when Bricks or Etch is active. Builder-aware actions open the most useful editor for the current environment while keeping direct WordPress editing and viewing links available.
Instead of replacing WordPress screens or builder features, Ops Center provides a consistent navigation layer over them. Administrators decide which sections appear, which content types are included, which roles may use the panel, and whether users may personalize its appearance.
One command center for daily site work
- Open templates, patterns, pages, posts, media, and public custom post types without navigating through several admin menus.
- Search the active inventory and use All, Mine, and New filters where supported.
- Keep frequently used builder resources and custom quick links in the panel title bar.
- Collapse navigation sections and retain a compact, task-focused layout.
Builder-aware editing
- Detect WordPress-only, Bricks, and Etch environments.
- Provide builder-specific edit actions alongside WordPress editing and front-end viewing actions.
- Discover native Etch custom post types and expose their management shortcuts.
- Optionally retain the native Edit in Etch and Edit with Bricks admin-bar links.
- Use bundled Bricks and Etch marks without loading remote interface assets.
Content, patterns, and media
- Browse enabled content types with item counts and searchable lists.
- Work with block patterns and templates from the same panel.
- Review media previews, attachment IDs, file sizes, and MIME types.
- Copy full attachment URLs from the media inventory.
- Refresh the media inventory when it opens so recent uploads appear without a page reload.
Site architecture
- Group post types, taxonomies, field groups, and options pages by object type.
- Detect supported architecture providers including ACF, Meta Box, ACPT, JetEngine, and Etch.
- Show provider labels only when multiple tools contribute to the same category.
- Provide direct Edit and Add New actions when the detected provider supports them.
Plugin management
- Browse all installed plugins or filter to configurable plugins.
- Open a plugin’s registered configuration screen when one is available.
- Activate or deactivate plugins through AJAX without leaving Ops Center.
- Refresh the affected plugin row after a state change so its actions remain current.
- Restrict plugin state changes to users who already have the required WordPress capabilities.
Access and appearance controls
- Choose the roles that may access Ops Center.
- Enable or disable panel sections and individual public content types.
- Use administrator-controlled appearance defaults or allow selected roles to personalize the interface.
- Configure light and dark palettes, base font size, text weight, and heading weight.
- Reset appearance values to the bundled accessible defaults.
- Use the bundled Inter variable font with no external font request.
- Remove all plugin options, transients, and user appearance metadata on uninstall.
Privacy
Uplink Unified Ops Center does not collect analytics, track users, or send site data to an external service. Its fonts, logos, scripts, and styles are bundled locally. External resource and quick-link destinations are opened only when a user chooses those links.
