One of the things that has been a long-standing pain here is that if you run more than one blog on WordPress.com it’s pretty difficult to switch between the dashboards.
It’s actually easier to leave your dashboard and go to your blog’s home page, so you can use the admin bar to move between dashboards. Countless mouse clicks have been wasted doing so.
No longer! Now if you have more than one blog you can hover over the title of your blog in your dashboard and it’ll show you a drop down with all your other blogs. Clicking on one will take you to the same page in the other dashboard, with one click! Mice around the world will breathe a sigh of relief.
Just a note: It only shows up if you have more than one blog, or if you’re on the global dashboard.

I don’t want to be the dissenting voice, but I find it slightly annoying, as it keeps popping up when I don’t want it to — probably because the title of my blog is long and I hoiver over it easily…
Maybe we could have a delay or, better yet, somewhere to click to make the switcher appear?

A good idea, but it’s a bit of pain when combined with tabbed browsing. If you have your Dashboard loaded, you usually will mouse over the drop down menu on the way to selecting the first open tab in your browser. In Firefox, you don’t have to “hover” to get the menu to drop down, and it stays down after your mouse moves out of the window to the tab panes. I have to make sure I mouse back over the drop down menu and exit slowly to get the menu to go away.

That’s great. But somehow I clock on it even if I don’t want to. It is extreamly sensitive and, if, say I want to click on Write or Comments it click almost automaticly. Maybe you can tune it a little bit.

I’m going to agree with the minor “slight annoyance” opinion. Tabbed browsing and toolbar bookmarks tend to chart a path right over the blog titles creating an unintentional pull down, blocking the dashboard “blog stats” and “write” tabs. Anyway to make it less sensitive?
That will give me the results I asked for.
