Did you ever look at your stats chart and wonder which posts were published on a particular day? Now it’s easy to find out. Just move your mouse around the chart. (This only works for WordPress.com blogs right now.)
Did you ever wonder how many hits your home page gets? Now it’s listed along with your posts. There is also a comprehensive report page reachable by clicking the little icon on the right. (This works for WordPress.com blogs and self-hosted blogs using the Stats plug-in. No upgrade is required.)

Sorry if this has already been answered- Is there a way I can see how many people have viewed my blog not counting my own views? Or is that just something you can tell by seeing who clicked on your blog?
Your own visits are not counted in the stats. Check out the WordPress.com Stats help page for details.

Thanks for the tips, I am new here and I just set up my first blog page. I added the blog stats widget. It registered 20 hits starting out, then it went back to 0. The only thing I thought might have affected it was that I went in and changed the time in the settings to reflect my time zone’s time, however, I have gotten a few hits since then, and the public blog stat is not registering those hits. Any advice on this?

pls enlighten me to what “home page” is exactly – its new but has nothing to do with my front page i see. where do vitistors connect/find with my home page?
is it within wordpress or do they connect externally though searches?
would be nice to have the visitor total number show up under the graph and not at the bottom of the page so we don’t have to scroll down
and
it would be great to have the date at the top too with the time – so if more than one stats page is open i can at a glance tell which is the most recent
oh and i have found that im not sure which stats im looking at as i have 4 blogs and the title isn’t shown for all of them which seems odd!

It would be cool if you would include the day of the week next to the date. This would help to analyze if particular days of the week have more readership than others.
Really Nice! The last thing that could be usefull is the statistic export! I wonder if I can save a csv file with day and views per day!

Ahmed Haes: On your stats page, *click* on “Top Posts and Pages” from there you can see what posts are getting the most viewers. You can even choose “of all time”.Hope that helps.
