Does the Masu theme support addition menu’s on the top of the page?
Masu is designed to use our new “Full Site Editing” system, so you do have the option to edit the header directly, including additional menus if you wish: https://wordpress.com/support/site-editor/customize-your-header/
Can you preview a theme with your own content without having to activate a new theme. I just want to see what they look like without making a commitment or messing up my blog.
Thanks Margaret
Hello there, yes this is totally possible – please see how to do this here: https://wordpress.com/support/themes/changing-themes/#preview-a-theme-before-switching
I guess you should look forward to that soon.
I’m sure you’ll have to activate a new one
Excellent
Are “blogs” now supposed to be photo based with captions, as opposed to opinion, or information-based pieces with focus on verbal content i.e., words?
Stephanie Hunt-Crowley.
Hey there, blogs can be whatever you wish them to be :). We’ll happily help guide you in setting that up via https://wordpress.com/help/contact 🙂
That comment was a rhetorical question, I should have worded it in the affirmative;
“I see that “blogs” are now supposed to be photo based with captions, as opposed to opinion, or information-based pieces with focus on verbal content i.e., words!”
Can you preview a theme with your own content and does it support addition menus on the page
It depends on the theme. If there’s a “Try and Customize” option in the theme’s menu (three dots), then you’ll be able to preview the theme with your site’s content.
These are pretty cool. Thanks for sharing!
