    These features are built into the WordPress.com platform by default, and cannot be removed. They are present even on our upgraded accounts.

    If you wish to have a site without these features, you may wish to export the site you have with us at WordPress.com and instead import it into a self-hosted WordPress site, which are sites that you create on a “traditional web host” like Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc.
