  There is no need to pay separately for hosting cost on WordPress.com. Hosting is included in all of our plans, including the Free plan.

  Can you send me a link to the site where you are paying $25 a month? It sounds like you are using the self hosted version of WordPress, WordPress.org. But I can confirm that for you.
