2016 verification url not working on account recovery form

  I changed my phone number, and now I cant access my wordpress.com account. Ive got no setup codes or receipts. The recovery form does not accept my 2016 original verification url. Freaking out a little as all my websites are linked to this account… Please advise 🙏🏾
