301 redirect in regards to podcast hosting

    I’ve decided to move my podcast from hosting it on WordPress.com to Anchor.fm. I want to keep the blog though, so I can post episodes there.

    To properly switch from WordPress to Anchor, I need a 301 redirect. I’m not sure I understand… Do I need to get rid of the blog, or can I still maintain it, only linking to the podcast episodes hosted at Anchor?

    Can someone tell me what I need to do?

    Hi there,

    I don’t think you need to redirect your blog to Anchor. You can keep your blog as is and when you publish a new episode on Anchor you can embed it on your blog by using the Podcast Player block.

    The only thing that will change is the hosting of the audio files. Now they are hosted here on WordPress.com and when you make the switch they’ll be hosted over at Anchor.
