$35 vs. $99 or both…not sure

  I’m not sure what to purchase? $35 for the upgrade to the theme, or $99/year. I have chosen a theme, but need to put a logo near the title, and would also like to change the body color to a soft gray. I don’t see that in the options. If I buy the upgrade for $35, will I be able to make these changes. If not, is there another theme that will work, and can I apply the $35 to that theme? WordPress is new to me, so I don’t know all the ins and outs. I attempted to change the body color in css, but could not see the published results. Please advise. Thanks! Dawn

  Sorry for coming in so late here, but you don’t need a paid upgrade to change the background color of the theme you are using; you can do so in your site’s Dashboard>Appearance>Background>Background color.

  Without having purchased the annually renewable Custom Design upgrade, you can only preview CSS changes. But as mentioned above, you don’t need this if you just want to change the background of your site.
