403 Forbidden; using wordpress hosting

  • Unknown's avatar

I am receiving a 403 forbidden access error when trying to access my blog. I have everything setup properly to point http://www.radioforhelp.com (radioforhelp.wordpress.com) to my wordpress page, including name servers and the domain mapping premium option. I am using the hosting provided by wordpress so I am unable to edit or add an htaccess file like others have used to solve this issue when using their own hosting solutions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Both:

    http://radioforhelp.com/

    And direct me to: http://radioforhelp.com/

If you just changed the mapping it can take a while for the changes to migrate across the internet – up to 24 to 72 hours – you will probably be the last one to see the changes because of local ISP caching and other routers.

I changed the mapping about 12 hours ago or so. So maybe I should wait 72 to see if it works.

However the funny thing is that sometimes it works but most of the time it displays the forbidden access 403 error.

    Thanks for the fast reply!

Each time you access a web site the routing is slightly different so you are using different combinations of routers, some might have the new information and some might have the old information. Sort of like driving in Seattle and each time you get to a street corner you alternate the maps you use between Seattle and New York.

i see what your saying. Ill wait it out and see if the error resolves itself and ill report back either way. Thanks again!
